So I was working on the dig some more, and I think I found something important.

Should we all be there by a specific time, or just come by as we're available?

[Because he knows crowding can get... unpleasant.]

Pity we couldn't turn this into another meeting; I've been doing some follow-up on someone I encountered during Pride.

[It's not immediately obvious, perhaps, but it's what Walter would be doing - and technically, he doesn't need to, what with his memory and drawing skills now.]

[And that surprises him into slipping and nearly falling into the mud. He does actually drop his camera.]

Walter! Try to warn me a little better next time.

[Jimmy picks the camera back up and tries to wipe the mud off it. On the ground before him is a small square of excavated ground with four small figurines made of tin scattered across it. The one in the best condition appears to be a small mouse curled up in the sleeping position of a dormouse.]

Maybe it should be time to have another meeting soon. I think its been a while since everyone shared notes.

There's probably a historical essay's worth of notes on this find alone.

No kidding. Its obviously important, but I have no idea how old it is,or what it means that mouse statues showed up here.

I may have a context clue, but not context.

Though, again, this may be something better explained with all of us in one place.

Is there more than just this to talk about?

Just someone who has a strange relation with the dormice.

Might be a chance someone else here has seen them before - or her sister.

That's definitely something I'd be interested in hearing about.

... As it is, I suspect the museum will want to know about this find here.

[He gestures at the tin dormice.]

So we may want to have our talk before doing that.

That's probably a good plan. It might be hard to get a good look at it after the museum has it.

That, and there's always the chance another of those among us could receive an Echo due to encountering it.

Best to handle that out of the public eye.
