Note Set #2 [text]
I think it might be a good idea to talk about recent events. That is, recent strange events - deja vu, for example. Like how I can't help but wonder why I know what it's like to be punched by a gorilla, even though I've never been closer to one than you'd expect in a zoo.
(It's not fun, for anyone curious.)
Sharing our experiences might help us understand them more, but if you'd rather keep them to yourselves, I understand. For those who do want to talk about them, maybe we can find a common thread that'll help us understand why this is happening.

Did any of the animals at the petting zoo hit you, by chance?
Not that they have any gorillas there, but still.
As for our own experiences-
[There's a minute pause, barely even noticeable as is his new normal.]
I gained high levels of speed-typing after pulling an all-nighter when I'd already imposed a time limit on myself.
And that speed boost extends to running and biking. Not sure of the logic behind that.
Text]
I did get kicked by a donkey. Do you think it's related?
And that's fascinating. How fast are we talking?
[Text]
[Though there's still questionable parts about the matter.]
And I'd give a number, but just phrasing it as 'more akin to a computer's processing speed than a human's' is easier. And still more precise than 'superhumanly fast'.
[And potentially less annoying.
Also less work for the mun.][Text]
So, deja vu- you think that's the trigger?
Re: [Text]
[Unfortunately, his Echo doesn't work that way!
You need someone who can give out stat buffs for that.]Yes, but finding the pattern to what makes these incidents cause deja vu is the trouble.
[Text]
Re: [Text]
Makes for a disturbingly similar parallel, actually. Mixing them can't be good for anyone's psyche.
[Working with multiple definitions of 'trigger', here.
And possibly speaking from a personal standpoint.][Text]
Re: [Text]
Never been much of a fan of the paranormal. Not on my own terms, anyway.
Reincarnation, echoes of someone else's self, clairvoyance...
Science can explain what those Northern Lights were, but it can't tell us a thing about why it happened then, or how it ties into this.
[That's either a why? or a yet, and Walter hates that he can't tell which it is.]
Or whether we're just biting off more than we can chew.
[Text]
Speaking of chewing, maybe we should talk more about this in person sometime. Not that this isn't incredibly handy, but I find face to face more reassuring.
Re: [Text]
Yeah; Multiverse Theory is a different situation, in my mind. Or, quantum entanglement becoming literal might explain any headaches!
[After a few
miliseconds to let himself think about it, Walter concludes that Jacob probably has the right idea.]My preferences tend to be the other way around, but I know what you mean. Have a place in mind?
[text]
But the comments above me... They're right.
I remember looking at up and seeing rock and expecting it. Like that was all I ever saw above me.
No superpowers (yet)
[text]
That's so strange. I wonder if we're just going to have to worry about this from now on.
[text]
I wouldn't mind something like that... But what's the catch?
Text
[The writing comes out quick and scribbled, almost illegible. He doesn't really want to see it written down.]
I remembered my own death.
It wasn't anything that felt remotely like it was in this plane of existence, but it was painful as all fuck, but I knew that I'd saved them. I don't know who 'them' was. I feel like it was a lot of people...
Text
I appreciate you sharing, and, completely apart from that.
You all right?
Re: Text
I think?
It doesn't really feel.... real.
