Tarwich Community Centre was used to hosting meetings and gatherings, though none of the staff at the facility were aware of how odd the gathering going on in one their function rooms truly is going to be. All mention of said gathering that was about to start had been kept off of the Network thanks to Sadie's insistence about safety. Some of the food was provided by the community centre, however, the many plates of biscuits were all courtesy of Ben's Aunt Rosemary. Everything was finally ready for the Numbered to start turning up.

Feste had promised Sadie that they would talk to their family and try to get them to come, so it only made sense that they would definitely show up. They're not sure how useful they'll be, since they think Nel might actually have a better grasp of the situation than they do sometimes. Possibly because she's younger and therefore accepts 'it's magic' as a reasonable answer and they're having a much harder time with that, but still. It's a little embarrassing and they feel stupidly overwhelmed. Maybe this will help...?

They're also looking a little doubtfully at the biscuits. Not because they don't look delicious, because they do, but-- "There's only a little salt in biscuits, right?"

Sadie has been placing out the various plates of food for those arriving when Feste's remark catches her attention.

"Feste! Good to see you!" She glances down at the plate of biscuits with a frown, "Ben's aunt made those...They shouldn't have that much salt in them..."

Feste shoots her a smile. "Hey Sadie. Nice job getting this all together." It's probably a heck of a thing to coordinate, when you don't actually know who everyone involved is.

They relax a little at the reassurance, reaching out to take one. "Honestly, probably would have risked it anyway," they say with a shrug. Could they survive without baked goods?

Sadie blushes at the compliment, she has never had to organise anything like this so the fact that something hasn't gone horribly wrong yet is honestly a miracle to her, "Thank you and thank you for passing on the message to your family, I was honestly prepared for barely anyone to turn up considering the circumstances."

The fact that Feste would be prepared to just go for the biscuits earns a snort of amusement from the blonde, "Fair enough, I'd probably do the same. Have you had any more problems with the salt recently?"

"No problem. I mean, I figured most people would want to talk about what's going on, so..." They don't see why people wouldn't have shown up. Maybe it looks a bit odd to outsiders, but a.) none of them were invited and b.) they could just make the excuse more focused around the weird things that happened.

They shrug. "Stopped putting it in food just to be safe. May try and use a little bit of it again if I get a better idea of why that even happened." But for now, cookies.

"That's probably for the best to be honest, at least for now. Maybe it's something you can gain a tolerance for?" Sadie suggests hopefully. Though they probably shouldn't follow Sadie's advice, she isn't a healthcare professional.

"Hopefully today will be a day of answers."

"Maybe. I hope so." They would like to be able to eat... anything ever again, maybe.

Feste nods, looking around. "Yeah... hope so." They don't think they'll be providing any, but maybe with everyone together...

Sadie crosses her fingers at Feste, "Here's to hoping and if not, at least everyone will be fully informed of what we know so far and that can only be a good thing.

This stuff is getting dangerous and if this information can help everyone stay safe then I will consider today a success."
