Scraps of [Video] and [Text]
Date: June 17th, 2018, 1:46 AM
Characters: Walter Weekes, though all other characters will see is just a long string of numbers.
[It's not a very long video - just a man staring at the screen, typing at a rate that can be heard if anyone's using a device that includes audio. Someone's put their Number into a separate window without realizing it! Or rather, without realizing it's more than just an annoyingly persistent stream of numbers that's messing up his coding.]
[The typing abruptly stops, there's a quiet, quick muttering of, "and SAVED, thank god-"]
[Then his eyes flicker over to the other window... and a look of horror dawns on his face as this isn't supposed to be a browser! The screen - presumably a laptop - gets slammed shut.]
[Only for, moments later, text to pop up instead. Just the same string of Numbers, several times in a row, before that feed is discontinued as well.]
[The next few minutes consist of several feeds - a mix of texts and videos, one of which is clearly coming through a mirror, before culminating in one simple written word:]
Hallucination???

Re: [Text]
[And now, a new question: can he be 'logged in' to this Network on two devices at once? Either way, Walter's gonna do his best to multitask.]
Maybe there's records of strange things like this happening after the last aurora? Not that they'd be anywhere public.
[That, or the date itself was significant, in which case its significance is lost on him.]

Re: [Text]
[Still, the question makes him smile - and then, after running one of his many tools-of-the-trade, that smile quickly turns into a frustrated frown.]
This Network isn't even detectable, looks like. That's just wild.
[There'll be a few more minutes of quiet as Walter goes through all he has in his arsenal, but that conclusion seems pretty solid.]
