Sadie's tone of voice as it comes through the Network is unexpected unless anyone had managed to spend any significant amount of time with her and her brother. It is taunting in a way that only teenagers who have siblings can manage. Her words are probably confusing to the rest of the Network as well.

"You are a bad dog."

[Sadie sighs and glances at her Number, she's hardly going to announce Kitty's most recent change without the girl saying it first.]

She doesn't vote for cats being better because she's named like one,she is human.

[Sadie winces at the duel loudness of Chad, both the bark and the translated words.]

I was kissing someone. [Ttly not the other way around, absolutely the active party here, etc.] And she was pretty.

Humans...we have a lot of rules around things like kissing, and one of them is consent. You need to have the other person's permission to kiss them if you don't then you hurt them. I did not tell you that you could kiss me and so you have done so without my consent. Which is bad.

Well, I'm a dog, so that doesn't apply to me.

[Sadie frowns deeply at Chad's response. Because she has a theory that Chad might potentially become less dog-like in the future, and she couldn't, in conscious, let him go about with ideas like that in his head.]

True,you are a dog. However, I am not. I did not consent to you kissing me and therefore you have hurt me. Which would make you a bad dog.
