Sadie's tone of voice as it comes through the Network is unexpected unless anyone had managed to spend any significant amount of time with her and her brother. It is taunting in a way that only teenagers who have siblings can manage. Her words are probably confusing to the rest of the Network as well.

"You are a bad dog."

So...Me kissing the top of your head gave you a memory...I'm assuming that you were being kissed in the memory?

I was kissing someone. [Ttly not the other way around, absolutely the active party here, etc.] And she was pretty.

So.

Humans...we have a lot of rules around things like kissing, and one of them is consent. You need to have the other person's permission to kiss them if you don't then you hurt them. I did not tell you that you could kiss me and so you have done so without my consent. Which is bad.

Well, I'm a dog, so that doesn't apply to me.

[DOG PRIVILEGE! Totally counts, no human rules for him!!!!!]

[Sadie frowns deeply at Chad's response. Because she has a theory that Chad might potentially become less dog-like in the future, and she couldn't, in conscious, let him go about with ideas like that in his head.]

True,you are a dog. However, I am not. I did not consent to you kissing me and therefore you have hurt me. Which would make you a bad dog.

[The word might have been more effective if she hadn't used it earlier to get a rise out of him.

Also, he's just being snotty now.]

I call it how I see it. That's another thing. Don't steal the bones, they belong to the families of that person.

If they didn't want someone to take them, they'd lock them away or put them on a high shelf.

[Sadie sighs, dear god. Maybe she should just get Chad a Sesame street boxset of something?]

That's not how it works with deceased loved one's Chad. People burn the bodies or have them buried somewhere safe in a graveyard. But someone's dug everything up. It's not right.

The bones of people's loved ones! They still belong to people, they were kept here to keep them safe but someone broke in!

[Sadie gently sets Chad down accompanied by the mental mantra of 'dog, not cat'.]
