It's been bad since my accident, though it's never been this bad. I'm not sure it's related.

Um sir...what should I do about college, I won't be allowed to wear sunglasses during lessons.

Not that I'm suggesting anything, but colleges do make medical accommodations for those, with, say, light sensitivity. I suppose if someone had an official note from their consultant, they could be given a bit of leeway.
