[Closed Log] Back to School!
Date: 14th September 2018
Characters: Sadie Moore and Jacob Petty
School was back after a more eventful summer that many were probably anticipating and with it came the excitement of catching up with friends and the return of homework.
For Sadie it meant going to speak to her Tutor about matters both Academic and Numbered. Waiting till after school she takes herself along to his office and knocks on the door.

It's more annoying than anything else, but what can you do but work with it? Jacob takes it in good humor, at least, performing the lessons and like with as much optimism and attitude as he always has had. And when things are over and he's got some time to start to decompress from the day?
"Come in!"
He knows darn well there's always going to be something else on his plate, and having both working arms wouldn't fix that.
Poor Jacob, teachers don't get breaks :P
"Afternoon Sir. Um, I was hoping to talk to you?"
She enters the room proper and shuts the door behind her.
"About school and the Numbers?"
r i p him
Just so they're not interrupted with this kind of conversation.
"Everything going all right?"
Teachers don't need sleep... Or lives
"Erm, for the most part? Yes. I found some really good coloured contacts now that my eyes have completely changed." She pulls her phone from her pocket and brings up the Gallery, showing Jacob a photo of her without the contact lenses, her eyes feline and a startlingly vibrant shade of Amber around cat-like pupils.
"It's still taking a little bit of getting used to to be honest." She admits, although the honest way she's talking about it it is more than clear that she is no longer as distressed and upset by the change as she had been when she bumped into Jacob on the night of the Aurora.
"Lots of other stuff happened during the holidays to."

He's joking.
...he hopes he's joking.
"But nothing bad, I hope?"

"I probably will at some point if what I've seen is anything to go by," She admits with a frown. "But! Good stuff did happen. Ben told me so I've been able to talk to him about stuff, and I can breathe underwater too which is as fun as it is annoying impossible."
"Pride was fun too." She tacks on at the end but any attempts at nonchalance was ruined by the way she blushes and happy purr kicks in in her chest despite herself.
