Sadie dashes about her room, digging through her closet and packing items away into her rucksack. Tarp-bottomed blanket, check. Rain mac and large umbrella, check. Plastic plates and cups, check. Thermos of tea, check. They were going to grab food on route so she doesn't have to worry about that. Oh, jacket! She makes sure to fish that out too and puts it on before grabbing her bag and heading downstairs.

"I'm good to go, Ben! Are you ready too?"

"More...?" he inquires softly with a hint of confusion before an instant later, a smattering of memories separate from the fog of the Numbers. Details are not entirely clear, but there are instances, flashes, of very...intimate times spent tangled together, and a subtle shock follows, "O-oh!." Immediately his whole face, to his ears and down to his neck, flare into a blush, and he bashfully looks downwards as he bows forward to gently rest his forehead at her shoulder.

But there's a smile still in his voice, "We uh...we certainly have done some things."

It's hardly subtle the way Ben's expression changes as he remembers something of their more intimate time together and Sadie is almost surprised at how pride and satisfaction joins the roiling heat in her gut.

"We certainly have," Sadie purrs proudly, resting her head on Ben's, "And the me out there remembers quite a bit of it too." She drops that tidbit of information into Ben's lap, not so much teasing as a promise of potential to the boy resting on her shoulder who had a hold of her heart twice over.

The lean of her head on his grants the permission needed to stay with his head at her shoulder long enough to gather his composure, however, her verbal affirmation delays the recovery a moment longer. That added hint of carryover that Sadie has experienced over the boundary has its intended effect as it plants the idea of exploring the activities he barely remembers with Sadie beyond the reach of the Numbers. His hands find their way downward, reaching out and behind around her waist to hold her before he slowly lifts his head, withdrawing only to where he is cheek to cheek with her, “I…will keep that in mind next time we have a date out here.”

Still red across his face and faintly at his ears, he quietly shares a thought, “Maybe this is something special about having our Numbers… We might get to experience being together all over again.”

Mmmmm, so she hadn't pushed too much with her last comment. Good. This contact could continue.

"I hope you will." She purred right next to his ear, languid and satisfied like the cat that got the cream. "And that would be so incredibly special. I would never, ever forget that and I'd bet you wouldn't either. Though Ben, I have a request. Surprise the me over there. I won't say no and I'll be like putty in your hands if you do."

There is something absolutely enthralling in the way Sadie speaks, exuding confidence and pleasure alike. Benjiro wants to stay as close as he can with her, captivated by how soft her warmth is under his hands while her strength comes through her words. The request she makes rejuvenates his blush over his ears. Not having expected that she would be ready to take that step again away from Mossgate, he needs a moment to process it as he considers the request thoroughly.

"I...I'm not sure how to do that," he confesses with a note of embarrassment. It is not a lack of desire, merely a lack of experience.

That's adorable and deserves another kiss, "Just ask. I will be oh so wonderfully surprised. Woo me, not that that'll be hard." She giggles, "Nearly anything will work as long as it comes from you, to be honest."

Just ask. It sounds less improbable coming from Sadie, and it leaves him a chance to breathe before joking lightly, “So...don’t overthink it is what I’m hearing.”

Maybe for once he can let the right time come rather than trying to plan everything.

Blush or not, Benjiro leans back a little further so that he can see her face once more with his smile refreshed if shy. He chuckles once, “You know, I had all these questions to ask, and now I can’t think of a single one.”

"Weelllllllll, I'd never ask the impossible. Asking you to stop overthinking completely would be like stopping the sun on its axis. Luckily that big brain of yours is one of my favourite things about you."

She laughs, there's no other way she can react to that except to laugh, ears wiggling away. "Really?! What a delightful surprise! Would you like me to tone it down?"

His smile is humbled by her humorous compliment, the boy looking down momentarily as he murmurs a word of thanks. At least with the cool air, his blush is not as uncomfortable as it could be as it lingers on.

Her laughter is what draws him into chuckling as he smiles widely, “Hey, there’s no need to take drastic measures. I meant the thoughtful questions I came up with from other days. I still have plenty of simple ones.”
