With the cover still held in place, he speaks, “I remember things that aren’t human too, but for now, it’s not bad.”

For now, he can pass as perfectly human if he’s attentive, and even with the change there below the surface, it’s not discernable. The teenager covers his mouth once more with the mask before he speaks again, “It’s just my teeth, and with any luck, that’s all it will be.”
