A chuckle rings in his words as he asks, “I’m a what now?” despite having heard her perfectly well. Waiting for her to select a photo from her phone, he leans over closer to examine the image on the screen with the familiar grey rabbit tucked in for a snuggle while they both sleep. The name Sadie reports shakes a little more of his memory free, and his smile gains a fondness as he is given details that explain the size of the rabbit in the photo despite the short time. Benjiro nods his head slowly as he recalls, “Right...and he’ll stretch out on his belly with his back legs out behind.”
Sitting back again from looking at the photo, Benjiro appreciates the importance of this development, “...huh. I have a pet.” His smile broadens at the concept, and he searches briefly for his own phone. Locating it in the pocket of his rain coat, he takes out the device and starts to scroll in his own image gallery - which is loaded with pictures of Bunsen. He finds a recent photo from within the last week of Bunsen being held by his great aunt Agatha, and his smile immediately falls to surprise. His brows furrow as he tries to think of an explanation.
“Sadie...? I thought I was staying with you. Did something change with my aunts?” he inquires with a nervous tension. He does remember moments with them, but he doubts his memory in it’s current state. When something occurred he cannot be certain of except by the timestamp in the photo on his phone.
