Once questions have been answered and Sadie has had time to interact with Benjiro as he lives inside Mossgate, he says goodbye for now to her human self. Welcoming Sadie back across the barrier fully into his arms and holding her as the fog of the outside lifts, his grin speaks to his perceived success of the first portion of the date.
Not wanting to leave Sadie waiting, he scoops her up in his arms simply to rise up and step out of the cover to stand under the tree. Setting her to her feet after gingerly tapping his forehead to her own and parting with a kiss to her cheek, he steps from her with arms sliding away with a final touch at the fingertips. He strides across the border out into the falling rain, eager to give her the same solace she had already given him.
A subtle drop takes place as Benjiro actually steps down into the wet grass, and he lurches into the next step before he regains control and comes to a halt standing in the rain. His body feels sore as he reaches a hand up to slide his fingers back into his hair to push the wet strands out of his eyes as he grapples with the familiar murkiness of his mind. Eyes narrowed with a slight frown, he murmurs, "...here again?" Hand pressing to his pocket as he seeks his phone for an answer, he turns just enough to spot the tent structure in his peripheral vision. His efforts to find his phone cease as he realizes he's not alone, and he turns around to face Sadie with his clothes now baggy.
His brows raise as he finds Sadie standing there with him, and his breath slips slowly out of him. Benjiro is captivated by the almost exotic note lent by her feline attributes, and his attempt to express the stunning effect in words falters to a simple, "....wow." A smile follows it with a faint single laugh, and he tries a second time, "This is much better than a picture."
