"Oh." Sadie certainly hadn't been expecting that to be Kitty's news but now her appearance and the way that the younger girl had bedded in to wait for her made horrible sense. She pushes herself up from underneath the kotatsu, grabs the plate of biscuits and sits on the bed next to Kitty's nest.

"I'm sorry Kitty," Sadie offers her the biscuits, "Do you know if it's a permanent move?"
